Course Requirements

Must I complete the online course in one sitting, or can I log off and return at a later time?

You normally have 15 days to complete your OnDemandCE course. You may login and out as many times as wish need during the enrollment period. When you return to a course you are enrolled in, the OnDemand system will remember your place and take you back to the last page visited when you logged off.

Your credit hours will be posted with the Department by the actual date you completed your course. Although you have 15 days to complete your OnDemandCE course(s), this DOES NOT extend your compliance date. You must complete your course(s) by your DFS complaince date or you will be fined a $250.00 by the DFS.

To determine your compliance due date, login in to the DFS Agent Education Database.

Do I have to read every page in the course?

Yes, in order to receive credit for an online course, DFS rules require you to complete the entire course. In addition, you must pass the course with an average of 70% or greater on the course quizzes.

How long will it take me to receive my Certificate of Completion?

You will receive your Certificate of Completion immediately upon completion of the course. You will be prompted to print a copy of your certificate for your records (make sure your printer is set to "landscape") immediately after course completion. You do not need to send a copy of your Certificate of Completion to the Department of Financial Services, unless specifically requested by the Department. However, you should retain a copy of each Certificate of Completion in a permanent file for three years after course completion.

A copy of your certificate is retained on the OnDemandCE.com learning portal should you need to print another copy at a later date. After you login to the system you will see a link to each certificate of completion you have earned as well as a transcript for each course you have completed under "My Home".

Credits will be submitted to the Department of Financial Services only if you acheived an overall passing grade of 70% or greater on the course and full payment has been received and processed. You must pass each course with an average grade of 70% or greater in order to receive credit for the course.

Can I receive a copy of my quiz results?

Yes, you can view and print a transcript from each course you take on the OnDemandCE system. The transcript includes a detail of each quiz grade from your course(s). Your transcript will remain on the OnDemandCE system indefinitely. Even after your enrollment period has passed, you can return to OnDemandCE.com, login and view/print your transcript and your certificate(s) of completion.

Do I need to send my certificate to the Department of Financial Services?

No, your earned credit hours will be submitted to DFS by OnDemandCE as long as you passed your course with an overall average of 70% or greater and your full course payment was received and sucessfully processed.

Your earned credit hours will be posted within 10-20 days of successful passage of each course. You will be notified by email once your credit hours have been posted in the DFS system.

You can verify that your credit hours have been properly posted by logging in to the DFS Agent Education Database. If after 20 days, you have not been able to verify your credit hours through the DFS Agent Education Database, please send an email to (remove spaces):help @ ondemandce.com so that we may resolve the issue.

Can I print the pages of the online course?

No, however, you will find many printable reference documents available from the OnDemandCE digital library. The digital library also contains several key links to Governmental agencies referenced in OnDemandCE courses.

How do I know which courses I should take?

It's up to you to determine what continuing education courses you want to take. Any course listed on the OnDemandCE system has been approved by the Department of Financial Services for bail continuing education. However, DFS Rules do not allow you to repeat any course offered by a provider within a three year period.

To ensure you are not repeating a course on OnDemandCE, check your transcript found immediately after you login or in "My Home". Even if you have taken a similar course with another bail continuing education provider, you can still earn the number of credit hours listed for the OnDemandCE course.

Can I take the same class more than one time?

No, DFS Rules do not allow you to repeat any course within a three year period. To ensure you are not repeating a course on OnDemandCE, check your transcript found immediately after you login or in "My Home". How can I find out my compliance date (continuing education due date)?

You can verify your compliance date by logging in to the DFS Agent Education Database.

How will I know that my earned hours were banked in my DFS account?

You can verify your credit hours by logging in to the DFS Agent Education Database. Earned credit hours will not be submitted to the Department of Financial Services if the 70% requirement was not satisfied or if full course payment was not sucessfully processed.

What if my credit hours do not appear in my DFS account?

If after 20 days from course completion date you do not see your hours in the DFS Agent Education Database, please send an email to (remove spaces):help @ ondemandce.com and we will work with you to resolve the issue.

Can I "bank" additional continuing education hours for future compliance checks?
